Indulge in a few nights retreat in the comfort of our unique 4 star  Bed & Breakfast with its beautiful, hand crafted timber furnishings  (only one B&B on premises). Situated on the banks of the Ovens River, above our Tearoom/Shop and within a working lavender farm.

 Only a 19 minute drive from Bright and three and a three quarter hours from Melbourne.

Guests can overlook lavender and the surrounding cottage garden from their bedroom balcony. Alternatively, guests can enjoy their complimentary gourmet, continental breakfast or B-B-Q on the kitchen balcony overlooking the bush and sparkling mountain waters of the Ovens River (only 20m away).

• Electric BBQ on riverside kitchen balcony and a microwave in the B&B.
• We do not allow for smoking or pets on the property.
• The B&B is for one couple only and sorry, is not suitable for children.

We hope you are able to take advantage of the proximity of our tearooms to savour our oven fresh scones or biscuits with fine espresso coffee in our charming timber and mudbrick building  or indulge in gourmet lavender ice-cream on the patio overlooking the river and gardens (additional costs apply).  

Great location
Ideally located only 19 minutes from Bright. Enjoy scenic drives to NE Victorian Gourmet Food and Wine regions, the Alpine Resorts of Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Mt Buffalo, and historic towns. Harrietville is a quaint little sub-alpine village at the foot of Mt Hotham. Harrietville is also rich in the history of the goldfields and the cattlemen of the high country. With its cafes, general store and 2 hotels, it caters for skiers in the winter months while the other seasons, bush walkers and bike riders enjoy the peace and beauty of the Ovens Valley.
